Department of Justice purges lead prosecutor from case for admitting that they don’t have sufficient evidence against John Brennan

The Trump Timeline:

On April 17, lead prosecutor Maria Medetis Long was removed from the case against former Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) head John Brennan after she expressed concerns about a lack of sufficient evidence against the subject of the investigation.

There is no known public evidence of Brennan engaging in criminal behavior.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) misrepresented this situation. While Long was clearly removed from the case for political reasons, they stated that it was normal for attorneys to be “moved around.”

On July 8, the Trump Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) started its political witch hunt against Brennan, as well as former FBI Director James Comey.

Question to the reader

The dear reader just needs to ask, out of all the prosecutors that could have been transferred to another case, why did it happen to be one of the few expressing skepticism, and one of the few approaching the case from the perspective of evidence and impartiality, rather than politics and ideology?
