WikiLeaks, which has been dropping Democrat leadership emails almost daily since the Access Hollywood tape leaked, leaks a final batch of over 8,000 emails late Sunday night into Monday morning, all hacked by Russian agents from the Democratic National Committee.
In one, DNC press representative Lauren Dillon lists more than 40 different potential Republican vice presidential picks that the party had considered preparing for. Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s pick, Mike Pence, did not make the list.

At the same time, the DNC’s website is hit by a major cyber attack that makes it impossible or nearly impossible for anyone to access it. The attack also targets the DNC’s email servers, suspending all communications with their email lists.
