An anti-fascist student organization at University of California, Berkeley is mentioned in the New York Times. The group, Berkeley Antifa, makes news for protesting a planned campus visit from right-wing figure Ann Coulter.

According to Twitter, students at Berkeley formed the organization in 2016 to combat racism, fascism, and white supremacy on campus.

Two months earlier, protests broke out after the school invited far-right figure and Trump supporter Milo Yiannopoulos to speak to the student body.
