Donald Trump made an unexpected visit the roof of the White House, telling reporters that he was “Taking a little walk,” and scoping out his future projects, such as the planned $200 million ballroom expansion. He was joined by White House officials and James McCrery, the architect in charge of the ballroom’s construction. Trump also emphasized that he will be paying for the ballroom himself; “Anything I do is financed by me, so you don’t have to worry. It’s contributed ‒ just like my salary is contributed. But nobody ever mentions that.”
