Yesterday, a group of Trump-supporting truck drivers ganged up on a Biden campaign bus on a highway in Texas. The group tried running the bus and other campaign vehicles off the road, which could have killed or seriously harmed anyone inside.
Today, Trump tweets a video of the attack with the caption “I LOVE TEXAS!” At a rally later in the day, Trump calls what took place a “hot thing,” glorifying the violence.
Scores of trucks bristling with Make America Great Again signs and flags swarmed the bus and accompanying vehicles on Friday, jamming traffic and creating a dangerous situation for the Biden crew and anyone else on the highway.
A large pickup truck at one point struck a white SUV driven by Democratic campaign staffer, Katie Naranjo, chair of the Travis County Democratic Party. The truck pushed the car out of its lane, causing damage to the vehicle in an aggressive and risky stunt.

Texas Congressional candidate and former state senator Wendy Davis and US Representative Lloyd Doggett were also in the middle of the “MAGA train.”
The Biden campaign cancelled three other events in Texas after the attack, citing safety concerns.
When asked about the event, Texas Republican Party chairman Allen West defended the truck drivers and claimed without evidence that Democrats are executing Trump supporters. That’s not true. In another statement, West called the story “fake news.”
