Donald Trump signs an executive order lifting COVID-related travel restrictions for over two dozen countries, including the U.K. which is battling a stronger mutation of the virus that has already made its way to the United States.
The order, which Trump says is also recommended by Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar, excludes travel with China and Iran.
Unless Trump somehow manages to stay in office, travel restrictions will go unchanged. The executive order goes into effect on January 26, and the incoming Biden administration plans to stop restrictions from being lifted.
