Despite an avalanche of lies to the contrary throughout 2024, Donald Trump‘s associates are now admitting that yes, in fact, Heritage Foundation‘s Project 2025 was and is their inspirational document.
In the lead up to 2024 election, TrumpFile flagged numerous bits of evidence proving Project 2025 was always intertwined with Trump Administration goals: from Karoline Leavitt’s absurd denials and leaked-training videos depicting Trump acolytes, to undercover footage of Project 2025 architect Russ Vought bragging bragging about how they would dismantle government and “traumatize civil servants.”
Now that the election is over and Trump narrowly defeated Democratic nominee Kamala Harris, all the lies about Project 2025 (and The Caravan, Haitians eating pets and others) have stopped and everyone is admitting what was already the objective truth: Heritage’s blueprint will guide them in 2025 and beyond.
Author Commentary
In Georgia, voters (made up of largely progressive residents in Fulton County, self included) were flooded with direct-mail postcards continually lying about how “Trump has nothing to do with” and “does not support” Project 2025. This particular disinformation that was sent (and presumably funded) by Georgia GOP, had unknown impact on voter sentiment. Also, mainstream news published stories about how Trump “distanced himself” from Project 2025, when that claim was obviously ludicrous on its face.
