Trump names John Sauer to be Solicitor General

The Trump Timeline:

Sources linked at end of page.

Donald Trump announced his intention to nominate attorney John Sauer to be Solicitor General. Sauer, who most recently proved his MAGA bona fides arguing the immunity case in front of SCOTUS, will, if approved or installed, head-up the nation’s justice system.

AUTHOR COMMENT

Sauer has a long, documented history in the “election denial” movement (term used loosely), which of course culminated in his arguing constitutional nonsense of “presidential immunity” in front of SCOTUS. Sauer also played a role in RAGA‘s (in my view, criminal) “War Games“, designed to combat a Trump election loss in 2020.

Sauer previously served as Missouri’s solicitor general, appointed by noted-sprinter and insurrectionist Josh Hawley, who was, at the time, the state’s Attorney General.
