CNN projects Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 presidential election, and other mainstream organizations follow. International media and independent sources called the election a wrap about 23 hours before mainstream outlets.
Donald Trump, you’re fired.
Trump arrived at his golf club in Virginia less than an hour before Joe Biden is named president-elect.
Almost an hour before the results, Trump tweeted “I WON THIS ELECTION, BY A LOT!” This is his final tweet before being recognized globally as a lame duck president.
A couple hours later, Joe Biden also wins Nevada.
