Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters that the State Department has revoked around 300 student visas, stripping unsuspecting students of their legal status and adding them to a list for deportation.
The students in question came to the U.S. legally. The State Dept. is targeting them as part of a broader assault on critics of Israel’s war crimes in Gaza and of the Trump administration.

The Trump administration has been sending plain-clothes DHS and ICE agents in unmarked cars to kidnap students for the past three weeks. They’ve been given no notice that their visa was revoked. The only commonality among the victims is support for Palestinian families, expressed either through protest or writings.
