Rudy Giuliani joins Greenberg Traurig, a law firm representing Donald Trump and Jared Kushner. The law firm claims Giuliani will work within a cybersecurity unit, but he spends the next two years traveling with Donald Trump and attacking his opponents.
Last year, the firm handled Trump’s suit against the Florida city of Doral so his golf course could override noise regulations that barred him from bulldozing before sunrise. More recently, it handled Kushner’s $340-million acquisition of the Watchtower properties in downtown Brooklyn.
Giuliani is dismissed from the firm in 2018, but only after someone at the firm registers a new company. That company goes on to become co-owner of GOP propaganda site Parler.
Trump has been represented by Greenberg since as early as 2000 when he had to pay a $250,000 fine for secretly lobbying against a Native American casino.
