On May 10, Giuliani announces he is leaving Greenberg Traurig, the law firm representing Donald Trump and Jared Kushner’s businesses.
The decision is branded as an appropriate move so that Giuliani can focus his efforts on the Mueller investigation and defending Trump personally.
However, multiple press releases from Greenberg Traurig distancing themselves from Giuliani after his erratic television appearances suggest he might have been booted.
This wouldn’t be surprising since he was hired as part of a cybersecurity unit but instead spent his time “traveling the country with Trump, introducing him at rallies and fundraisers, challenging Hillary Clinton’s health based on stuff he finds in corners of the internet, declaring her Clinton Foundation troubles worse than Watergate, wearing a ‘Make Mexico Great Again Also’ cap, and helping draft policy speeches diagnosing African Americans for white audiences.”
