Sometime in 1948, Robert Maxwell, father of Epstein-partner Ghislaine Maxwell, works as part of a Czechoslovakia intelligence unit to aid the Israeli government in the War Of Independence. According to the book The Secret War Against the Jews, Maxwell’s work with Czechoslovakia played a major role in deciding to arm Israel in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.
Prior to 1948, Maxwell was a member of the Czechoslovak Army, the British Army, and then the British Foreign office intelligence / security organization.
