Osama Bin Laden’s half brother rents an apartment in Trump Tower

The Trump Timeline:

Sources linked at end of page.

Sometime in 1985, Osama Bin Laden’s half brother Shafig Bin Laden pays a $8,500 security deposit for an apartment in Trump Tower.

Records indicate Shafig lives at Trump Tower for at least four months in 1986, but it’s unclear how long he stays at the Trump property or if he has any other business with Donald Trump.

He and 12 other members of the Bin Laden family are flown out of the United States a week after 9/11, aboard a plane used for the Bush White House press corps.

In his 2000 book, Donald Trump warns about Osama Bin Laden and says a major terrorist attack on U.S. soil is imminent, but he does not connect the two. A few months after the book is released, Trump sells an entire floor of Trump Tower to Saudi Arabia.

This file will be updated if new information becomes available.

Note: “Shafig” is interchangeable with “Shafiq.”
