In a final message to the Trump administration’s white supremacist supporters, Mike Pompeo ends his term as Secretary of State by attacking multiculturalism and political correctness.
According to Pompeo, the United States was not founded on acceptance of other cultures, we’re worse off being home to people from a variety of cultures, and being respectful of other people’s culture or background (political correctness) leads to an authoritarian nation.
Woke-ism, multiculturalism, all the -isms — they’re not who America is. They distort our glorious founding and what this country is all about. Our enemies stoke these divisions because they know they make us weaker… Censorship, wokeness, political correctness, it all points in one direction — authoritarianism.
