Mike Pompeo meets with Yossi Cohen, the current head of Israeli spy agency Mossad, at Cafe Milano in Washington, DC.
Pompeo gives a speech about Iran the next day, in which he accuses the country of providing haven to al-Qaeda. The U.S. and Israel have been involved in a joint effort to provoke war with Iran.
Mossad’s relationship with Donald Trump’s inner circle began long before he became president.
Pompeo was originally scheduled to be in Europe on today, but the trip was cancelled. European Union officials and diplomats refused to meet him after the attack on the Capitol Building.
