Michael Caputo, the Kremlin employee first installed in the Trump campaign and now in the Dept. of Health & Human Services, spews a handful of conspiracies and tells Republicans to prepare for war.
This comes just days after it was revealed that Caputo was forcing the agency to lie about coronavirus statistics.
On Facebook Live, Caputo says that (1) government scientists in the Center for Disease Control are lying about the coronavirus pandemic to hurt Donald Trump, and (2) Democrats are training squads throughout the country to launch a war during the inauguration if Trump wins.
“And when Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin,” he said. “The drills that you’ve seen are nothing.” He added: “If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get.”

He even says that the protester who Trump had assassinated actually chose to die to hide the war plan.
These are conspiracies that far-right commentators have been pushing for months, but a Trump official repeating them gives them credibility that believers didn’t have before.
Neither this nor the CDC hijacking should come as a surprise; CNN found a handful of deleted tweets from a month before Caputo joined HHS repeating these and other conspiracies.
Caputo also pushed the debunked conspiracy that Ukraine was the real culprit of DNC hacks and election interference in 2016.
