Dates on Trump File reflect when something happens, not when it’s first reported.

One of the frequent warnings from people who’d been following Trump’s life and career before 2016 was that the media was failing to report on the real dangers of a Trump presidency.

On February 29, 2016, CBS Chairman Les Moonves makes it clear that media executives know what they’re doing.

It may not be good for America, but it’s damn good for CBS… The money’s rolling in and this is fun. I’ve never seen anything like this, and this going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It’s a terrible thing to say. But, bring it on, Donald. Keep going.
