Mark Meadows, former White House chief of staff, joins the Conservative Partnership Institute (CPI) as a senior partner. The institute’s president and other leaders are members of the Council for National Policy.
At the time of this writing, Meadows is at least the eighth Trump administration official to join a CNP-connected organization since the former president left the White House.
Mike Pompeo joined the American Center for Law and Justice. Andrew Giuliani and Jason Miller signed contracts with Newsmax. Mike Pence, Chad Wolf, Ken Cuccinelli, and Mark Morgan accepted jobs at the Heritage Foundation.
The Council for National Policy is a pro-corporate, anti-democracy, religious extremist group backed by oil executives and other billionaires. Members used their own organizations to influence Trump administration policy and to try to overturn the 2020 election.
