Folks, it wasn’t Antifa. It also wasn’t the FBI dressed as Trump supporters.
Four years ago today, it was over 2,000 diehard Trump supporters — from moms and dads to militia members — who stormed the Capitol and caused the deaths of seven Americans.
We know this for a fact. Many of us knew beforehand, and — contrary to reports immediately following the insurrection — our lawmakers and government knew, too.
They knew Congress would be attacked when Trump allies launched the website asking MAGA supporters to be there.
They knew when pro-Trump members of Congress began plotting the attack with MAGA influencers.
They knew when journalists began warning law enforcement at the end of December.
They knew when lawmakers began texting each other about it a week prior.

They knew when Trump asked for the National Guard to protect his supporters days earlier.
They knew when the White House asked InfoWars’ Alex Jones to lead Trump’s base to the Capitol.
On January 3, 2021, they ADMITTED that they knew. Why was there not more done to protect our lawmakers, our institutions, and our democracy? Why did they try to cover up that they knew?
While we mourn our future today, we should also take a moment to remember those who aren’t here with us after what happened the last time Congress met to certify the electoral college results:
- Ashli Babbitt, 35, whose dedication to Trump overcame her own survival instincts.
- Rosanne Boyland, 34, who overdosed on amphetamine taken ahead of or during her entry to the Capitol. (According to her family, she did not use recreational drugs.)
- Capitol Police’s Brian Sicknick, 42, who passed on January 7, 2021, after suffering injuries during the attack.
- D.C. Metropolitan Police officers Jeffrey Smith, Kyle DeFreytag, Gunther Hashida, and Capitol Police officer Howard Charles Liebengood who took their own lives following the events of January 6.
Lawmakers and law enforcement were silent about what they knew ahead of January 6, and they failed to act to prevent the insurrection.
What will they let Trump and the GOP get away with when he’s back in office? How many more people will die?
The answer is anyone’s guess, but we’ll be here to keep track.
With you in the times ahead,
The Team at Trump File
