Russia is using Congress against Trump

Folks, it’s the founder of Trump File, and something’s been bothering me.

There are two stories in the news right now that the WHOLE WORLD appears to think are unrelated. Maybe you’ve seen them?

Having done years of deep research into the Trump regime, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that these events are happening at the same time.

To understand how these stories are connected, we have to go back to March 2021 when the U.S. Intelligence Community (USIC) released a report on Russian interference in the 2020 election.

I personally analyzed every claim in that report when it came out so I could share the findings with Trump File readers. It indicated quite clearly that Sen. Ron Johnson acts as a conduit or a proxy for the Russian government.

Rand Paul is also mentioned in my analysis. While the USIC report doesn’t make any claims that directly implicate Rand, I’d already documented two stories of his Russia ties before the report came out.

1) In 2018, Rand Paul delivered a letter from Trump to Putin during a trip to Moscow.

2) A few months later, the Senate was set to pass sanctions on a company called Rusal, which the Russian government uses to funnel money into our country and buy political influence. The night before the vote, an executive from Rusal met with the CEO of a Kentucky company. Rusal offered him millions for a new factory in Rand Paul’s state.

The next day, Rand Paul and Mitch McConnell surprised their colleagues by blocking sanctions on Rusal — and that Kentucky CEO accepted over $75 MILLION from Russia in the months afterward. It’s safe to assume where some of that money went.

Folks, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Trump began attacking his favorite dictator the day after that dictator’s plants in Congress started threatening his “big, beautiful bill.”

I can’t say with any certainty what Putin doesn’t like about this budget bill, but I can say — with confidence — that these senators wouldn’t turn on Donald Trump unless Putin wanted them to.

I’m also confident this is a pressure campaign from Putin. When the bill comes to a vote, Ron Johnson and Rand Paul will most likely support it despite their comments this past weekend.

Here’s the good news: their motive doesn’t matter.

Putin is not happy with his favorite asset right now, and his cronies are helping to raise the alarm about some of the damage this bill and its provisions will do to our country.

We will continue to warn voters about this bill and urge them to call their lawmakers until it either goes to a vote or the Senate takes a sledgehammer to it!

Our reach is up to you. Pitch in here to help us keep running the social media ads we launched last weekend.

Remember, there are no coincidences in a dying democracy.
