Kristi Noem living rent-free in top military official’s residence—Report

The Trump Timeline:

Citing “fears for her safety,” Kristi Noem apparently relocated from a fancy, Navy Yards condo and into a property that traditionally houses the Coast Guard commandant. As Ewan Palmer noted for The Daily Beast—summarizing a Washington Post story—Noem is enjoying her new digs free of charge.

Kristi Noem is staying at a military base home usually occupied by the top Coast Guard official because she claims to fear for her safety. Noem has been staying at the usual residence of the Coast Guard commandant at the Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., rent-free, sources told The Washington Post. DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin told the Post that Noem decided to move on the base after the Daily Mail published photos outside of Noem’s home. McLaughlin said Noem had been ‘so horribly doxxed and targeted that she is no longer able to safely live in her own apartment’ but that Noem is still paying rent at her residence in the Navy Yard area of D.C.

The property, colloquially known as “Quarters 1” within the Coast Guard, has been vacant since January when Donald Trump fired (without justification or explanation) admiral Linda Fagan—the Guard’s first female chief. DHS spokeswoman Tricia McLaughlin claimed that Noem’s relocation was necessary due to the Daily Mail story, as well as the bold action she’s taking against “dangerous” “criminals.”

McLaughlin said Noem’s safety fears are justified given that DHS is ‘going after the worst of the worst,’ which she said includes ‘hundreds if not thousands of members of international cartels and terrorist organizations.’ As head of DHS, Noem received a security detail, which was increased following the story in the Mail.

Not much is known about this property given its inherent security needs. Media reports state the property is “spacious” with waterfront views and round-the-clock protection.

Noem’s living arrangement, which officials say is “temporary,” comes at a time when she is reportedly still regularly on the arm of Corey Lewandowski—with whom Noem has been having an extra-marital affair, according to multiple reports.

AUTHOR FOOTNOTE

So we are supposed to just shut up and take the word of habitual liars and frauds that Kristi feels her life is in danger, which is why she needs a secure location? Sorry, but that does NOT pass any smell test. Listen, Daily Mail is normally a rag but they must’ve hit the nail on the head with this particular story, linked below, given all the histrionics from Noem associates.

Just for context, Puppy Shooter’s fancy apartment is a “$3,750 per month, two-bed condo that enjoys breathtaking panoramic views of Southeast Washington and the Anacostia River” and… provides absolutely no security? No doorman or secure elevator? Come on, man. At least try to make this mythology sound halfway believable.

The more likely scenario, given Noem’s well-documented past behavior, is that “DHS Diva” got busted canoodling Lewandowski again and she wants to continue her torrid affair (allegedly) without the prying eyes of the public or news media.
