Sometime in August 2007, the FBI headed by Robert Mueller enters plea deal negotiations for Jeffery Epstein with Alexander Acosta, U.S. Attorney for South Florida and Trump’s future secretary of labor. Epstein serves an unspeakably lenient 18-month sentence for the crimes he was accused of in 2006.
