Facebook announces it will remove all content including the phrase “stop the steal” to prevent disinformation and violence. The decision follows the FBI’s warning of future armed protests at federal, state, and local government buildings.
The company said it was treating the next two weeks as a “major civic event” and would take additional measures to prevent misinformation and spread of content that could incite further violence.
