Donald Trump posts to Twitter that we must “terminate” Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which prevents social networks from being held legally accountable for the content users post.

The tweet comes as “#DiaperDon” is the top trending hashtag on Twitter. Trump claims trending topics are manipulated by Twitter to hurt Republicans.

Twitter is sending out totally false “Trends” that have absolutely nothing to do with what is really trending in the world. They make it up, and only negative “stuff”. Same thing will happen to Twitter as is happening to @FoxNews daytime. Also, big Conservative discrimination!

The demand to repeal Section 230 comes just three days after we published an overview of Parler, in which network analyst Dave Troy claims repealing Section 230 is the primary objective of the far-right propaganda site.

According to network analyst and disinformation expert Dave Troy, Parler’s purpose is “expressly political and aimed at eroding U.S. social media firms” by challenging Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act.
