Appearing on Fox News, Donald Trump Jr. says that Democrats are crossing their fingers that the coronavirus ends up in the US and kills millions of people, all so they have a better chance of winning the election.
“For them to try and take a pandemic and seemingly hope that it comes here and kills millions of people so that they can end Donald Trump’s streak of winning is a new level of sickness,” Trump says.
The same day, acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney adds “They think this is going to be what brings down the president. That’s what this is all about.” And when asked by the House Foreign Affairs Committee if he thinks coronavirus is a hoax, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo refuses to answer the question.
Just three days earlier, White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said that COVID-19 isn’t coming to the US at all.
They don’t know that the virus is already in the country.
