Donald Trump tweets praise for his armed supporters after many of them stormed the Michigan capitol and threatened the lives of police and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer.
“The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire,” Trump tweets. “These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal.”
Trump and his criminal friends had signaled out Michigan’s COVID-19 precautions and incited his supporters to take action for months. Some of those criminals even helped plan armed protests in states across the country.
