After a federal judge ordered the Trump administration to pay out $4 billion in foreign aid, the administration requested that the Supreme Court freeze the order, with Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. agreeing to temporarily freeze it. The freeze requires the challengers to file their brief by Friday, 3 days after the freeze was put in place. The full Supreme Court will most likely vote on issuing a longer freeze after that time passes.
