Carter Page, still on his trip to Russia, emails Trump campaign foreign policy adviser Sam Clovis about a private meeting with Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich.
In the email, Page says Dvorkovich “expressed strong support for Mr. Trump and a desire to work together toward devising better solutions in response to the vast range of current international problems.”
The previous day, Page emailed campaign adviser and transition team member J.D. Gordon that he’d been contacted by “a few Russian legislators and senior members of the Presidential Administration.”
Dvorkovich is a board member at the New Economic School in Moscow where Page spoke about the United States treating Russia poorly.
