Ben Carson, the unqualified secretary of Housing & Urban Development, tests positive for COVID-19.

Carson was present at the White House for election night events. Chief of Staff Mark Meadows was also at the White House. Meadows is said to have tested positive on election day.

Despite being a medical doctor and former neurosurgeon, as well as sitting on the White House coronavirus task force, Carson has actively flouted health warnings to wear a mask and socially distance to stop the spread of the virus, attending multiple Trump campaign events and a maskless party at the White House on the night of the presidential election, which was won by Joe Biden.

Buzzfeed

Carson is the eighth person connected to the Trump Administration and Trump Campaign to test positive in the past week.

This may be unrelated to the coronavirus outbreak within the administration, but Attorney General William Barr was not seen by the public for up to a week until this afternoon. He is spotted meeting with Senator Mitch McConnell. Documenting that here in case we learn more about his activities during election week in the future.
